AI thumbnail generator

An AI thumbnail generator, and somewhere to finish the job.

Two tools beside the pipeline rather than inside it: one proposes thumbnail concepts and generates them, the other is a layered editor you finish them in. A useful extra, not the reason to buy Autotube.

Where the concepts come from

Pick one of your projects and the generator reads its title and brief, then proposes as many thumbnail concepts as you ask for — each a named idea, the image prompt behind it, and a suggested caption.

Captions, roughed out

The caption comes with the all-caps lines, the words worth accenting, and roughly where on the frame they sit. Generate the ones you like as 16:9 images, with more variants of any concept the first attempt did not land.

Or start from one that works

Paste the URL of a video whose thumbnail you keep noticing and the tool reads the picture underneath: shot type, what fills the frame, lighting, depth, mood. It ignores the text and the logos, so you get a composition, not a copy.

A layered canvas

Any generated image opens in a layered canvas, and so does anything you upload: text, shapes and arrows over it, a cropper and zoom, image adjustments, gradient presets and backdrops behind the lot.

Text that holds at phone size

Over a hundred font families, with an outline, a glow and a weight boost for captions that have to hold at phone size. Export a PNG at 1280×720 or 1920×1080, or save it onto the project.

The same image models as your scenes

Thumbnails are generated through the same image models the visuals step draws your scenes with, at the same credit cost, shown before anything runs.

Your character, not a stranger

That includes the reference-image models, so a project with a recurring character can put that character on the thumbnail instead of a stranger who looks approximately like them. Your own reference images can be attached as a style guide.

Not a step in the run

This is a bonus rather than the headline. A title-to-video run hands you a finished video and leaves the thumbnail to you, for when the video exists and you can see what it needs.

What it does not do

There is no A/B testing, no click-through prediction and no template gallery. A dedicated thumbnail product will out-feature this on all three; what these two tools save you is the trip out to one for every upload.
