AutoShorts.ai review: one job, done cheaply.
AutoShorts.ai writes, narrates, illustrates and posts a faceless short video on a schedule, and does nothing else. For the creator who wants exactly that, it is the cheapest route reviewed here.
Is AutoShorts.ai worth it?
In one line: The simplest way to post faceless Shorts daily and stop thinking about it.
AutoShorts.ai is the most focused product in this review cluster. You configure one series — a niche, a visual style, a voice — and it publishes short videos to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram three times a week, daily, or twice daily depending on the plan. Voice cloning is included on every paid plan and it covers a substantial spread of languages.
The ceiling is stated in their own FAQ: up to ninety seconds. There is no long-form path at any price, it is one series per plan, and there are no refunds. That is a narrow product with clear edges, which is a virtue as long as the edges are outside your requirements.
So the honest verdict is that this is a good purchase for a specific decision. If you want a Shorts channel running on autopilot at the lowest price on this site, buy it. If you are hoping to grow into long-form later, nothing here will grow with you, and the pipelines that do cost several times as much.

What AutoShorts.ai actually does.
You set up one series, pick a visual style and a voice, and AutoShorts.ai writes, narrates, illustrates and posts a short video to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram three times a week, once a day, or twice a day depending on the plan. Voice cloning is on every paid plan and it covers 30 languages.
The product is a single loop: a series definition goes in, short videos come out on a cadence, and the platform posts them. There is very little surface area beyond that, and the pricing reflects it — the tiers differ almost entirely by how often it posts. Three times a week, once a day, twice a day. That is the whole ladder.
This is a legitimate and underrated design. Most of this category sells you capability and leaves the discipline to you; AutoShorts.ai sells the discipline itself. A creator who has failed at short-form because they stopped posting after two weeks is being sold the thing they actually lacked, which is a more useful product than another editor.
It also means the tool has almost no opinion about quality control. You pick a style and a voice and then the videos publish; you are not reviewing each one before it goes out unless you choose to work that way. For formats where the audience tolerates variance that is fine, and for a brand that cannot afford an off-key upload it is a real risk.
Voice cloning on every paid plan deserves a mention, because several competitors reserve it for their most expensive tier. On a faceless Shorts channel where the voice is most of the identity, having it at the entry price is the correct decision and not a common one.
It is worth being clear about what the automation implies for your channel's identity. Because the series definition is the only place your taste enters the process, the format you pick at signup is effectively the channel — and changing your mind later means reconfiguring rather than editing a back catalogue. Choose the niche and the style deliberately, because they are doing more work here than in any other tool reviewed on this site.
5 things AutoShorts.ai gets right.
The lowest entry price reviewed here
Their cheapest plan undercuts every other tool in this cluster, and it is not a crippled tier — it includes auto-posting and voice cloning, just at a lower cadence. For testing whether a faceless Shorts niche has an audience, that is the cheapest real experiment available.
Voice cloning on every paid plan
A cloned voice is the cheapest form of channel identity in short-form, and AutoShorts.ai includes it from the entry tier rather than gating it above. Competitors charging several times as much put it on their top plan only.
It genuinely posts for you
Publishing to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram on a schedule is the feature that turns a tool into a channel. The hard part of short-form is consistency, and buying consistency is a better use of money than buying another way to make a video you will not upload.
Almost nothing to learn
The product's narrowness is a usability feature. There is one workflow, a handful of choices, and no timeline, project structure or credit calculus to master. For a creator who wants output rather than a new skill, that is worth more than a longer feature list.
Broad language coverage
It covers a wide set of languages for a tool at this price, which makes it a reasonable way to run the same short-form format for a non-English audience without moving to a specialist voice platform.
What it really costs.
Every tier AutoShorts.ai lists, and what a month of each one buys.
- StarterPosts 3 times a week · 1 series · auto-post · voice cloning$19per month
- DailyPosts once a day · 1 series · auto-post · voice cloning$39per month
- HardcorePosts twice a day · 1 series · auto-post · voice cloning$69per month
Monthly billing. Their free plan was marked temporarily paused.
The ladder is cadence, not capability. All three plans do the same job at different posting frequencies, which makes the pricing unusually easy to reason about: buy the cadence you can sustain creatively, not the biggest one you can afford.
The entry plan is the cheapest real product on this site, and because voice cloning and auto-posting are included it is a complete version of what AutoShorts.ai does. Nothing about the upper tiers changes the ninety-second ceiling or the one-series limit.
Multiply by series if you want more than one channel. Two niches means two subscriptions, and at that point the comparison against competitors who include several parallel series in one plan stops being flattering.
With no refunds and the free plan paused when we checked, size the commitment accordingly: one month of the cheapest plan is the correct way to find out whether the output suits your channel, not an annual purchase.
6 things to know before you pay.
Ninety seconds, stated outright
Their own FAQ says they focus on short-form content up to ninety seconds. This is not a soft limit you can work around with credits — there is no long-form path in the product at all. Any plan to publish longer videos means a second subscription elsewhere.
One series per plan
Each subscription runs a single series, so testing two niches or running two channels means paying twice. Competitors at higher prices include several parallel series, which is how a short-form operator actually explores what works.
No refunds
Their FAQ states plainly that refunds are not offered, citing the cost of AI generation. With the free plan marked as temporarily paused when we checked, the practical position is that your first month is a non-refundable experiment.
The free plan was paused
At the time of checking, their own page marked the free tier temporarily unavailable. That may change, and it is worth looking before you assume a no-cost trial exists — the combination of no trial and no refund is what makes this a small but real commitment.
Very little control over what goes out
The premise is that videos publish without your involvement, which means quality variance lands on your channel rather than in a review queue. For a personal brand or a client channel, that is a risk to weigh rather than a detail.
No research, no channel growth tooling
Idea selection is not addressed: there is no outlier research, no competitor tracking and no analytics-driven ideation. The tool executes a format you chose; deciding whether that format is the right one remains entirely your problem.
Buy it if this is you.
Buy AutoShorts.ai if you want a faceless Shorts channel to exist and keep existing without your daily attention, at the lowest price available here.
Buy it if you have failed at short-form consistency before. This is a tool that sells the posting discipline rather than another way to make videos, and that is the thing most short-form attempts actually lack.
Buy it if you want to test one niche cheaply before committing anything larger. A month of the entry plan is the least expensive real experiment in this cluster.
And look elsewhere if this is you.
- Autotube
If you need long-form video, this is not a close decision: a long-form pipeline makes three-minute to three-hour horizontal videos with researched scripts, and AutoShorts.ai makes none at any price. It costs considerably more and posts nothing automatically.
- StoryShort
If you want several parallel series, a wider catalogue of short formats and a clear fourteen-day refund on any payment, a Series-based competitor is the better-protected purchase at a higher price.
- Revid
If you want viral-idea monitoring, avatars and an API an agent can drive on top of the auto-posting, a programmable short-form tool goes much deeper.
- Fliki
If a specific voice or language is the requirement rather than the posting cadence, a voice-first platform has a far deeper library, though you would be publishing manually.
Moving from AutoShorts.ai to Autotube.
There is no switch to pitch here, and saying otherwise would be selling you the wrong thing. AutoShorts.ai makes ninety-second vertical videos and posts them; Autotube makes long horizontal videos and hands you a file. If your channel is Shorts, we are not a cheaper AutoShorts.ai — we cannot do the job at all.
The real relationship between the two products is complementary. A faceless channel running long-form uploads for watch time and short clips for discovery needs one tool for each, and AutoShorts.ai is the cheapest way to cover the short half. The only reason to move rather than add is if you have concluded that Shorts were never the strategy.
The recommendation, with the evidence in.
AutoShorts.ai does one thing at the lowest price on this site, includes the two features that matter most for a faceless Shorts channel — auto-posting and voice cloning — on every paid plan, and asks almost nothing of you to operate. Judged against what it claims, it is a good product.
The limits are equally clear: ninety seconds, one series, no refunds, and a free plan that was paused when we checked. None of that is a criticism of the product so much as a boundary around it. Inside the boundary it is the best value here; outside it, it is not a candidate.
What this review is, and is not.
We make Autotube, so this page is not neutral and does not pretend to be. What it is instead is checkable: every price, cap and policy attributed to another company was read from that company's own pricing or terms page on the date printed beside it, and every link goes to the live source rather than to a screenshot of it.
There are no affiliate links on this site and no sponsored placements, so nothing here is written to earn a commission on where you land, and nothing on this page was paid for by anybody named on it.
Every tool named here carries a stated flaw, ours included, and where another tool is the better answer for the job you actually have, the page says so. A page claiming we win every row would be exactly as useful to you as the ones claiming it about themselves.
There are no scores and no star ratings here, on anyone's product. A number implies a methodology, and a number a company attaches to its own competitor is worth even less than that. What these pages give you instead is what each tool caps, what it charges and what it refuses to do — each of them checkable in one click.
We compete with almost everything we review here, this page's subject included. Most pages ranking for a "<tool> review" search are paid per signup, which is why so few of them contain a con that would cost the sale; every review here has one, including the review of Autotube.
We have not run a lab test on anyone's product, including our own, so a review here is a reading of what a tool ships, caps, charges and refuses — not a benchmark. Where a policy is missing from a company's own pages, the page says it is not stated instead of estimating it.
