Past the 40-minute ceiling.
Fliki turns text, blogs and slides into narrated videos in 80+ languages, capped at 15 or 40 minutes by plan. Autotube researches, writes and renders long-form YouTube up to three hours.
Which one to buy.
Fliki: Text to narrated video in 80+ languages, with the deepest voice library here. Best for: Multilingual channels, and anyone whose videos live under forty minutes and need a particular voice or accent.
Fliki's wall is length, and it is a hard one. Videos stop at 15 minutes on the $28 Standard plan and 40 minutes on the $88 Premium plan, which means a documentary-length video is not something Fliki makes at any price they publish. If your format runs past forty minutes, that settles the comparison before anything else is weighed.
If your format fits inside forty minutes, Fliki is a serious tool and on one dimension it is far ahead of us: 2,000 or more voices across 80 or more languages, plus translation, voice cloning and AI avatars. For a channel publishing in Hindi, Portuguese, Arabic or half a dozen languages at once, nothing on this site competes with that library, and Autotube's multilingual support — one multilingual voice model and a per-channel script language — is a thinner offer honestly described.
What Autotube brings instead is the long-form pipeline: researched scripts to 45,000 words, narration, visuals timed to that narration, a render from 3 minutes to 3 hours, up to ten channel presets, and credits that roll over while you are subscribed. Fliki's pricing page does not say what happens to unused credits, and its refunds are granted case by case at the company's sole discretion, so both of those are questions to ask them rather than facts we can print.

6 differences worth reading about.
A table says "30 minutes". What it cannot say is what a ceiling does to a channel, which plan you would really be on, or where Fliki is the better buy.
- 1
The length ceiling, and which plan it sits on
A maximum runtime is a list of formats a tool cannot make. Sleep content, documentaries, compilations and long explainers run from forty minutes to several hours, and splitting one of them across three uploads gives away the watch time the long version would have earned. When the ceiling also moves with the price, the ceiling is deciding which plan you are on before your output volume gets a say.
- Fliki
- 15 minutes on Standard at $28, 40 minutes on Premium at $88. The jump in price is largely a jump in permitted length, and 40 minutes is where their published plans stop. For short explainers, listicles and multilingual social content this is ample.
- Autotube
- Autotube renders 3 minutes to 3 hours in one pass, on every plan, with no tier that unlocks length and a script written to the intended runtime rather than trimmed to fit it.
Ours, decisively, for long-form. Entirely irrelevant if nothing you publish passes a quarter of an hour.

Voices, accents and languages
Narration is the product on a faceless channel, and the voice is most of what an audience remembers. For a non-English channel the question is not whether a tool supports the language but whether it has a voice in that language a viewer will listen to for half an hour — which is a question about library depth, not about a checkbox.
- Fliki
- Fliki's library is the deepest named anywhere on this site: over 2,000 voices across more than 80 languages, with translation, voice cloning on every paid plan and AI avatars on top. If you need a specific regional accent, they probably have several.
- Autotube
- Autotube's default voice model is multilingual, so a script written in another language is narrated in it, and a channel's script preset can set the language it writes in. Voice cloning is included on every plan. The library is a fraction of the size of Fliki's, and that is the accurate way to put it.
Theirs, clearly and by a wide margin. This is the one dimension on which we would tell a multilingual channel to buy Fliki.
- 3
Who researches and writes
Text-to-video and title-to-video sound similar and are not. One converts words you have; the other produces the words. On a channel that publishes weekly, the writing is the recurring cost, and a tool that starts from finished text has left the recurring cost with you.
- Fliki
- Fliki turns text, blog posts and slides into narrated video. It is excellent at the conversion and it is not a research tool: what goes in is what you wrote, and at 15 or 40 minutes of runtime, what you wrote is a few thousand words you produced somewhere else.
- Autotube
- Autotube researches the topic first, then writes to the channel's brief and the target runtime, up to 45,000 words, then narrates it. Ideation proposes the titles too, from your channel's own winners and your competitors' outliers.
Ours. The gap widens with runtime — at ninety seconds nobody needs a research pass, and at ninety minutes nobody wants to write without one.
- 4
What happens to credits you did not spend
Credit expiry decides whether a plan sized for a busy month is an investment or a monthly write-off. It is also the clause most often missing from a pricing page, and a missing clause is not the same as a generous one.
- Fliki
- Fliki's pricing page does not say. We looked, and we are not going to guess on their behalf. What we can quote is their refund position: certain requests may be considered case by case and granted at the sole discretion of the company.
- Autotube
- Autotube credits roll over while you are subscribed and expire 30 days after the subscription ends — a stated rule rather than a discretionary one.
Ours, on the strength of the policy being written down at all. An unstated credit policy is a question to put to their support team before you subscribe.
- 5
Running more than one channel
Operators rarely stop at one channel, and the second one is where tooling either helps or hurts. The question is whether each channel can hold its own voice, script register and look without you re-entering settings every week, and how many of them a plan allows.
- Fliki
- Fliki organises work into Series: one on Standard, three on Premium, and one voice clone on Standard rising to three on Premium. That is enough for a small portfolio and it climbs with the price.
- Autotube
- Up to ten channel presets, each with its own brief, narration voice, script style and visual grammar, on plans that do not gate the count behind the top tier. Voice cloning is on every plan rather than metered by it.
Ours on the number and on where it sits in the price list. Theirs if one or three is all you need and the language library is what you came for.
- 6
Trying it before paying
The cost of being wrong about a subscription is part of its price. A free tier that produces something you can actually judge is worth more than any single feature row, because it converts a guess into an observation.
- Fliki
- Fliki has a free plan that exports watermarked one-minute videos at 720p. That is enough to hear the voices and see the style, which is exactly the thing you want to evaluate here, and it costs nothing.
- Autotube
- Autotube has no free plan. What it has instead is a cost estimate shown for every step before it runs and credits that roll over while you are subscribed, so the money is visible in advance and an unspent balance carries into the next month.
Theirs. A watermarked minute is not a finished video, but it answers the question a prospective buyer of a voice library actually has.
What you gain over Fliki.
Every line here is a difference against the rows and policies quoted above, not a feature list.
Three hours instead of forty minutes
Autotube renders 3 minutes to 3 hours on every plan. Fliki caps at 15 minutes on Standard and 40 on Premium, so documentary-length video is outside what their published plans make.
Researched scripts to 45,000 words
A research pass and a script written to the runtime, rather than a conversion of text you brought. Fliki starts from your words, your blog post or your slides.
A written credit policy
Autotube credits roll over while you are subscribed and expire 30 days after the subscription ends. Fliki’s pricing page does not state what happens to unused credits, and refunds there are at the company’s sole discretion.
Ten channel presets, and clones on every plan
Ten channels each with their own voice and look, with voice cloning included from the cheapest plan. Fliki allows one Series and one clone on Standard, three of each on Premium.
Title ideas from your own channel
Ideation proposes the next ten titles from your channel's winners and your competitors' outliers. Fliki's pricing page states nothing about ideation.
Your own AI keys, with no per-generation markup
The Own Keys plan runs the pipeline against your Google, OpenAI and ElevenLabs accounts. Fliki's pricing page does not mention bringing your own keys.
The cost of a run, before the run
Every step is priced in credits and shown before it executes, so a long video's cost is known in advance rather than discovered in a balance.
Where Fliki genuinely wins.
We make Autotube, and these are real. If one of them is the thing you need, buy Fliki — we would rather you read this page once and trust it than switch and regret it.
Over 2,000 voices in more than 80 languages
This is the deepest voice and language library on this site by a wide margin, and it is the single best reason to buy Fliki. If your channel publishes in several languages, or needs one particular regional accent, Autotube's one multilingual model is not a substitute and we will not pretend it is.
Translation and AI avatars
Fliki translates a video into other languages and offers AI avatars. Autotube does neither: a second language means writing and narrating a second script, and there are no avatars at all.
A free plan you can actually hear
Watermarked one-minute exports at 720p, at no cost. Autotube has no free tier, so Fliki lets you evaluate the thing that matters most about it — the voices — before spending anything.
Publishing straight to YouTube
Fliki publishes to YouTube directly from the tool. Autotube renders a file and leaves the upload to you, which is one more manual step in every week's routine.
Shorts as well as long-form, and slides and blogs as input
Fliki covers short-form video, and takes slide decks and blog posts as source material. Autotube makes horizontal long-form only and accepts a title or a script, so anyone whose week contains more than one format is comparing one subscription against two.
How this comparison was made.
We make Autotube, so this page is not neutral and does not pretend to be. What it is instead is checkable: every price, cap and policy attributed to another company was read from that company's own pricing or terms page on the date printed beside it, and every link goes to the live source rather than to a screenshot of it.
There are no affiliate links on this site and no sponsored placements, so nothing here is written to earn a commission on where you land, and nothing on this page was paid for by anybody named on it.
Every tool named here carries a stated flaw, ours included, and where another tool is the better answer for the job you actually have, the page says so. A page claiming we win every row would be exactly as useful to you as the ones claiming it about themselves.
There are no scores and no star ratings here, on anyone's product. A number implies a methodology, and a number a company attaches to its own competitor is worth even less than that. What these pages give you instead is what each tool caps, what it charges and what it refuses to do — each of them checkable in one click.
Where the other company's own wording decides something — a credit rule, a cap, a refund policy — this page quotes it rather than paraphrasing it, and prints the page it was quoted from beneath the table. If the thing you need is in their column, buy theirs.
Prices in this category move fast, and the cheapest plan a pricing page advertises is not always the cheapest plan that does the whole job. The plan cards above show every tier either product sells, so you can compare the plan you would actually be on rather than the one the headline quotes.
What we could not verify
Every figure attributed to Fliki on this page was read from their own pages on 19 September 2026. These are the questions those pages did not answer, left open rather than estimated:
- — Fliki's pricing page does not state what happens to unused credits, so that row reads not stated rather than carrying an assumption. It is the first thing we would ask their support team before subscribing.
- — Their refund wording is discretionary — requests may be considered case by case and granted at the company's sole discretion — which means there is no entitlement we can describe on your behalf. The quote above is theirs, verbatim.
- — Their pricing page shows prices in the visitor's local currency, so the dollar figures here are the US list prices and may not be what you are charged. Their page also says nothing about ideation or about bringing your own API keys.
And the flaw on our side
It makes no Shorts and no vertical video, and its editor is built for adjusting a finished run rather than for craft: no colour grading, no keyframes, no multiplayer. It is one founder's product rather than a company with a support rota, there is no free plan to poke at before you subscribe, and a three-hour render takes real minutes on real hardware — the pipeline is honest about that up front rather than pretending an hour of video is instant.
Fliki carries its own, stated above: Length is the wall: 15 minutes on the $28 plan and 40 on the $88 one, so a documentary-length video is not something it makes at any price. Its pricing page does not say what happens to unused credits, and refunds are case by case at their sole discretion.
