Thumbnails
Generate thumbnail ideas and images with AI, or compose one by hand in the canvas editor, then save it to a project.
Two screens make thumbnails, both under Tools. Thumbnail Generator writes ideas and generates images from them. Thumbnail Designer is a canvas editor for laying one out yourself. Either can save its result as a project's thumbnail.
Thumbnail Generator
The header switches between two modes.
Generate from Project starts from a script you already have. Pick a Project, set Number of ideas (3, 5, 10 or 15), and optionally add Requirements (optional) — anything the ideas should respect. Two extras shape the look: Include character from project uses the project's character as an image reference, and Upload or Paste Images takes up to two style references. Tick Auto-generate thumbnails when ideas are ready to skip a step.
Click Generate ideas. Each idea appears with its own Generate Image button, or Generate All does the whole batch. Every generate button shows its credit cost before you click it.
Generate from YouTube Video starts from a thumbnail that already exists. Paste a YouTube URL under Thumbnail source and pick a Mode: Recreate analyses the thumbnail and regenerates something similar, Edit modifies the image directly. Recreate runs Analyze thumbnail first, leaves the Thumbnail analysis editable, then generates from it with Generate thumbnail. Edit takes instructions and Edit thumbnail.
Thumbnail Designer
The designer is a canvas, one tab per thumbnail, kept in your browser. Add Elements gives you Add Text, Add Image, Add Rectangle, Add Circle and arrow shapes. The Elements panel is the layer list — hide, duplicate, reorder or delete. Properties edits whatever is selected: font, colour, gradient, size, crop, background. Undo and redo are on the toolbar.
Export the canvas at 1080p or 720p to download it. Images generated in the Thumbnail Generator have an Open in Canvas action, so you can finish an AI image by hand.
Save it to a project
In the generator, the save icon on a generated image is Save as Thumbnail for project. In the designer, Save as Project Thumbnail opens a dialog where you filter by channel, Select Project and click Save thumbnail. The thumbnail then shows on the project — see Projects and Description & publish.
